Messerschmitt KR200 Monzarot Convertible 1960
A restored Messerschmitt KR200 Cabriolet from 1960. Completely restored and in beautiful condition! Also originally delivered in The Netherlands in the province of Drenthe (Emmen)!Exterior:
The exterior of this Messerschmitt has been completely restored and finished in the original Monzarot color. The original steel wheels are mounted under the car, these are equipped with original chrome hubcaps. Furthermore, the chrome is in good condition and the car is in a very nice restored condition.
Interior:
The interior of the Messerschmitt was also completely renovated during the restoration, finished in black vinyl with black carpet. All original clocks are present and in excellent condition. The original steering wheel has been restored.
Technology:
The technology is in perfect condition and has been completely overhauled. The engine is an original 191cc 2-stroke engine that produces 10 hp, which was completely overhauled during the restoration. The gearbox has also been completely overhauled and shifts properly.
The history:
This Messerschmitt KR 200 Cabriolet was delivered new in Emmen, Drenthe, the Netherlands in 1960. The car was with its first owner until 1966, after which it was sold in 1966 to its 2nd owner Mr. Naber living in Emmen. The car then remained with this owner until 1975, after which the license plate was suspended and later switched to a so-called dormant license plate. So the car has not been on the road since 1975! The Messerschmitt has now been completely restored and has its original Dutch license plate again!
