A very nice, original Ferrari F40 from 1990 with Catalyst, non-adjustable and the special Lexan windows (lightweight option)! Less than 100 examples where built with the Lexan window option!Exterior:
The exterior of the F40 is finished in the beautiful color Rosso Corsa Fer 300/9, this is the original factory color. The F40 is also equipped with its original 17 inch Speedline rims and the special Lexan windows!
Interior:
The interior of this Ferrari F40 is in beautiful condition, equipped with the original red carbon shell seats. The interior is original and equipped with the original counters and switches. As is known with the F40, the car is completely made out of Carbon and this is also reflected in the interior. Because the car is equipped with Lexan windows, the doors are completely empty inside.
The technique:
The technique of the Ferrari is in good condition. The 2.9 V8 turbo runs well and produces 478 hp. The gearbox is a 5-speed manual that shifts excellent. The car drives well and brakes well. The car was fully serviced by Ferrari in 2022 and was fitted with new fuel tanks, new fluids, new filters and new belts.
The history:
This Ferrari F40 was delivered new in 1990 to its first owner. The 1st owner was the founder of the well-known wheel brand BBS (Mr. Klaus Brand), the car was delivered via Ferrari dealer Gohm at Lake Constance. In 1993 the car passed to its 2nd owner. This owner drove the car occasionally until 2008. The car then came to a stop in its garage/shed on a bridge and has never been touched since. In December 2021 we found this car in this garage/shed and we took the car with us and had it fully prepared at Ferrari. A Classiche Certificate has been requested and is currently being made by Ferrari! This is a second owner F40!
