A very original BMW 3.0 CS Automatic E9 from 1975! Coming from its 2nd owner and in original condition!Exterior:
The exterior of the 3.0CS is finished in its original color BMW Fjord – Metallic. The paint was newly applied in 2008 and is in very good condition. Under the car are beautiful, original E9 rims that are in good condition. Furthermore, the BMW is equipped with Chrome bumpers, Chrome moldings and original hub caps.
Interior:
The interior of this BMW is in a very good condition and completely original, made of blue fabric with blue carpet. The door panels and the dashboard are finished with wood which is in a very good condition as well. Furthermore, the BMW has electric rear windows and its original BMW Bavaria Cassette II radio.
The technique:
The technology of the BMW E9 3.0 CS is very well maintained. The engine, its matching numbers 3.0 liter 6-cylinder in-line engine, is in a well-maintained condition and runs excellently. The engine delivers a power of 179 hp. This power is transferred by a very smooth-shifting automatic gearbox. This concerns the CS version which is equipped with 2 carburettors from the Zenith brand.
The history:
This BMW 3.0 CS Automatic E9 was delivered new in 1975 in Belgium to its first owner. The first owner, Mr. M. Huait in Nijvel (BE) takes delivery of the car on 01-09-1975. The car remains in possession until 09-02-2008 when Mr. M. Hubens takes over the car after the car has been parked in the garage since the early 1990s (sale form available). In 2008 the car was then repainted in its original colour, in the trunk and engine compartment the car has its original paint. The odometer reading of 49,234 km is therefore regarded by the last owner as the original mileage! Since 2008, the BMW has driven only 3,500 km. The car has always been stored in a heated garage in a collection of very original cars!
